Compact, rugged profiler with automatic oven setup
The KIC Profiler X⁵ is a compact, rugged intelligent thermal profiler built for tough daily handling. Its circuitry tolerates the voltage spikes found in some ovens and wave solder machines, it runs on batteries or USB power, and its software picks the best oven setup for each new board.
Key Features
- 7, 9 and 12 channel versions with standard Type K thermocouple connectors
- Datalogger model downloads by USB; RF dual-unit model sends data to the PC in real time
- Measures slope, peak temperature and time above liquidus, and calculates the Process Window Index (PWI)
- Navigator Power finds the best oven setup: centre of the process window, maximum conveyor speed or minimum electricity use
- Prediction of profile changes from setpoint changes, and SPC charts for trends
- 3 AAA batteries (rechargeable optional); powered by USB when connected
- 2-year standard warranty
